    Default OMFG I am maaaaaaaad!

    For a while now, PS1 games have not been working on my PSP. So I updated to M33 and reconverted one of my games and they STILL WON'T WORK. I put them in my GAME352 folder and try to run with XMB and it gives me a 80010002 error, which is the same error you got on a 1.50 PSP when you tried to run a non-KXploited homebrew.

    In addition, I am using PSX2PSP, and it will not let me use custom graphics. If I select a picture file, for example, my custom ICON0.PNG, and I click preview, it just doesn't show up. Do I have bad luck, or is this all just a coincidence?

    Would backing up my stuff, formatting the card, and replacing it all be a possible solution for the 80010002 part? (I am guessing the no-custom-gfx is just cause my computer sucks ass and has for some time now...if I can remember, since about...the day I got it.)
    You don't need to know my mental status. You probably don't want to, either.

    Oh and btw I noticed that the best for me is to backup, format on PC, check for bad sectors, etc. and fix them, and finally formatting on PSP once more. Without the format on PSP, it's slower. The PC format is different for some reason. Sorry if this OT but just sayin'...

    if they ran from GAME150, PSX games would work on firmware 1.50

    POPStation PSX games will only run from GAME, and you GAME folder kernal is irrelivant (cause the PSP will detect it as a PSX game and launch it differently to homebrew).

    Not sure, but I've been pretty happy with IceTea.

    Yeah, I ran into the opening_plugin.rco problem before, but I fixed it.

    OK, I tried a few different things, and here's what happens:

    PS1 game in GAME150: 80010002
    PS1 game in GAME352: CA000005
    PS1 game in GAME folder (kernal set to 1.50): CA000005
    PS1 game in GAME folder (kernal set to 3.52): CA000005

    This makes it look like there is a problem with the EBOOT.PBP now. 1.50 obviously doesn't work because it never had any POPS drivers. 3.52 is supposed to work, but doesn't. And like Jak66 said, the PSP detects that its a POPS game when it is in the game folder and automatically uses the 3.52 kernal, but it gives me the same error. Maybe I'll try a different conversion program, like that IceTea.

    BTW, I did the backup 'n format thing and had no luck. Though I discovered that one of my messed up UMDs is now working again (if you saw my other thread)!

    Heres your problem

    Error Code:

    * CA000005 = key.bin
    * 80010002 = generic kernel error (default)
    * 80010002 = also this can be caoused by running a I...S...O with no-umd!

    Hope this helps :thumbup:

    Ok, so I put my KEYS.BIN in there and now I am getting a brandy-new error: 80020148.

    BTW, I also just updated to 3.40* v3 because M33 was giving me way too many problems.
