voldi wanted to kill hary himself becaused he believed it was the prophecie.

my ask is why ,as dumbedore say p 551 of the 7th book,is was essential for The Plan that voldi himself kill harry.

well this is how i got it only voldy could kill the peace of himself inside harry no one else could in fact kill harry because voldy and harry were in a way one hope that that helps ya =)

because voldemort is, well, arrogant. As said by dumbledore after voldemort "killed" harry, he doesnt realize that him and harry potter are linked in that way.
