According to the coders statement, once you use the special battery to unbrick, that battery becomes useless for normal operation. So, if that is true, then yes, it would require two batteries to use.

Damn so many comments lol.... this might make me buy the psp slim only if homebrew will take advantage of the extra ram if not what's the point.

Get your batteries while they still cost normal haha....

I've just done it on my battery . What you have to do to put your battery back to normal mode is to remove the battery from your PSP, and boot your PSP using only AC.

Then when your PSP is started you can put back your battery, and using the pandora battery homebrew, put it back to "normal" mode.

Cannot handle it." i did all the steps before that.. maybe its because i am using virtual PC to run windows on mac? ill try it on my friends XP later then..

    Firstly, you are right.

Secondly, thank you as I wouldn't have thought of that solution myself. High-Five!

another thing, don't forget to unplug and plug the battery every time you change its state (normal / service).

So does this mean what I think it means? No more perma bricks that can't be fixed with out a mod chip? This is by far the greatest day in homebrew for the PSP if i had a back up battery I would so brick my psp just to try this out lol. But I think I'll wait till that day comes on it's own. Nice work guys and hope to see more crazy releases
