    psp Mind numbing brilliance!

Yup, PSP Phat batteries do indeed work on PSP Slim. Maybe SONY will change that now. PSP Slim also uses memory stick PRO Duo.

Man, this should have waited until the release of the PSP Slim. The amount of people actually buying these "leaked" packages was probably very minimal. More likely, shops were probably set up to offer downgrade/unbricking services using this or a similar technique.

Don't get me wrong, All of the talented coders involved in this are far wiser than me and I respect this work tremendously.

I just can't stand how stuff like this is always released right before major firmware updates (3.60 for PSP Slim)

This is good for people who have already bricked. But for those who haven't and are planning on getting a PSP Slim, this maybe could have been 1000 times more useful.

But still, thanks to all for all of the brilliant work put forth to make this happen.

Of course they will put in countermeasures. That's what disappoints me so much. I know the brilliance of the PSP homebrew scene coders can NEVER be underestimated, but how long can we keep this streak going before SONY finds a way to really put a stop to homebrew hopes for future PSP's.

Ok, so. I have 2 PSPs. One is 3.52 M33, other is just 3.50. Has anyone tried 'unbricking' a PSP that is not bricked to update it to a CFW, so I know it is safe for me to?

From what I understand, this changes your battery into the magical unbricker, but then it doesn't function as a regular battery, correct? Can you un-do the magic after you're done unbricking a PSP to return the battery to its original usage, or should a second battery be used?

would this work on a psp where the green light does not come on at all? Because i have a friend whos psp i might purchase if I am sure it is a brick. Basically the unit doesn't have the yellow charge light come on or the green light, so i was wondering basically if anyone tried this battery thing on a unit like this
