If you're getting the

It's because you're messing up, my post above says why you're getting this message and how to fix it.
this zip package. it's only 200kb and i wont be needing it for anything in the coming decade lol if/when i do, i can just boot recovery and retrieve it. besides, i'd like to get as much use out of my battery before ruining it. in addition, it can't be good for a battery to hold its charge for years to come
my psp was an original japan 1.00 which i bought a week after release (thank you ebay!) and i've never bricked before in any way shape or form![]()
