While the firmware would disable the current method of video-out , the functionality is still there, and if this battery allows full lash access is a firmware rip completely out of the question?

i dont see how the extra ram can be locked away by firmware either.

I just wonder whats going on in sonys mind now... lol, it sucks cause the brick I fixed has no analog and the face plate is all messed up and keeps falling off, I needed the spare parts months ago
