From the Pandora's Battery release post: "Development of a technique to change an ordinary battery into a service mode trigger battery (and back)" (Boldness added).

Then again I haven't tried Pandora's battery yet so I have no idea. Someone should try it. Whats the worst that can happen? You brick your psp, that you just unbricked? It's not much of a setback anymore.
The unbricker process restores a full v1.5 firmware to your PSP. The 'partial subset' just refers to the version of the firmware that it launches from the memory stick, in order to be able to flash the full software.

    1. Remove the battery
    2. Plug PSP into an AC adaptor
    3. Turn PSP on
    4. Place the battery in again
    5. Run the program and select one of the "normal battery" Options
    6. Act cool (Optional)

WOW! This is more impressive than I thought. Hey Fanjita, thanks for your involvement and contributions in yet another historic release. You are really making history. I tell you, in 20 years, I'm still going to remember these exciting days.

I can't wait to make my own personal "jigkick".

Default PSP 2000. Comming this way.

The GREAT NOOBS and C+D will surely find an exploit for the slim. And I am so confident in them, that I will get me a slim when it's released. But not before I help donate to the cause.
