    REGION FREE Release

    features
Take control of your world by hacking mechanical devices, commandeering security turrets and crafting unique items critical to your very survival.
Upgrade your weapons with ionic gels, explosives and toxins to customize them to the enemy and environment.
Genetically modify your body through dozens of Plasmid Stations scattered throughout the city, empowering you with fantastic and often grotesque abilities.
Explore a living world powered by Ecological A.I., where the inhabitants have interesting and consequential relationships with one another that impact your gameplay experience.
Experience truly next generation graphics that vividly illustrate the forlorn art deco city, highlighted by the most detailed and realistic water effects ever developed in a video game.
Make meaningful choices and mature decisions, ultimately culminating in the grand question: do you exploit the innocent survivors of Rapture or save them?

    description
After your plane crashes into icy uncharted waters, you discover a rusted bathysphere and descend into Rapture, a city hidden beneath the sea. Constructed as an idealistic society for a hand picked group of scientists, artists and industrialists, the idealism is no more. Now the city is littered with corpses, wildly powerful guardians roam the corridors as little girls loot the dead, and genetically mutated citizens ambush you at every turn. BioShock forces you to question the lengths to which you will go and how much of your humanity you will sacrifice...to save your own life.

BioShock is loaded with some of greatest, most modifiable weapons to ever blast their way into a shooter. But guns alone won’t be enough to defeat the devious AIs of Rapture. There are literally hundreds of other strategies players can use to take out his enemies.

Meh, wouldnt really say best game ever. I believed the hype and bought it, and was slightly dissappointed. A solid 7 maybe 8 but definately not 9 or 10 material.
Meh, I guess everyone has an opinion.

yuo sir, do not know what a good game is. this is next gen, WOW. incredible, deeper than the ocean (get it?) and completely open to create your own experience. ok the levels are fairly linear, but there's plenty room for exploration and no 2 people will have the same experience. one of the best games ever, it's so hard to fault. better than resi 4. MAYBE EVEN OCARINA OF TIME. the only game on 360 that comes close is oblivion, which also has that freedom kind of thing. the difference is that oblivion is sprawling and patchy, but shear gameplay hours and immersion elevate it to masterpiece, but bioshock is more contained and refined to the point of perfection. pklus it takes "best looking game ever" without breaking a sweat. a beautiful, immersive, cinematic and action packed experience with a fantastic stary to boot. even the cutscenes are thrilling, and THAT takes something special. the ultimate game really.

I love smoking cigs and drinking wine in Bioshock. It's almost too realistic.

No, no im not saying its a bad game, im just saying, running from room to room killing Big Daddies and Splicers over and over, then getting a little bit of the story, its just repetative.

I find there is no repetition, that's what the customisation options are there for.

Heck yeah! Over 70 plasmids, 4 different Big Daddies, two endings (Ive seen both, have 45 out of 50 achieves ) and so much more its insane.

Ha ha, the game rocks so much! Repitition is all games, buddy! But narrowing it that far down isn't even remotely fair, or that would shove a stake into every PS3 game ever made!
