Also the cheek of you kids telling people on ebay that what they bought (contractually i might add) they could of got for free. You are going to p!ss some people off. Im sure if you guys hound the sellers and not the buyers then he might add a note to the auction stating he is only charging for labour and the battery and the software is made by..... which fyi i already donated to, have you?

Should be able to get hold of a card read fairly cheap. Why do the psp community seem so concerned? Oh well guess in some ways you have to appreciate the help if you were dumb. I wont be posting no more replys. Thanks for anyone who agrees and if you don't and your really worried about the welfare of C&D then donate and stfu . Thats my advice, after all there will allways be good and bad people in this world, try focusing on the good rather than the bad .

As long as it's reasonable (I think 40-60 dollars is fair, given the NORMAL Market price of batteries, and not cheap ass knock offs that will die after 100-200 charges...of course, the seller should say the TYPE of battery with this as well) and the seller is upfront that you're paying for the battery, and a nominal fee for the work they've done creating the Pandora Battery.

Now, I also think they should credit the team responsible for making this all happen, but that will probably never happen.

What can we do about it in the mean time? Report the listings. If Sony isn't already doing something to get it stopped (Remember how Blizz cracked down on people selling accounts and eBay had no choice but to agree and stop them?) we all can by simply reporting the listing as having 'illegal' or 'copywritten' materials within it for sale. Even if it's not true, eBay will still look at it as a 'will this get us sued by Sony?'
Yeah reported a few, although if you read the listings you find some are not offering the actual files just battery and stick (get the files yourself).

The problem with selling a pandora is its simply immoral. Freeware is meant to be free. Total arseholes do this.

lol, I've been having a little conversation with this guy. I said it was sad he was selling free software.. He said batteries and his time wasn't free. Looking at the price of batteries, his time is worth £35, lmao. Then he proceeded to tell me to F*** off ****head. What a pleasant fellow

Yes what they're doing can be seen as immoral but it's actualy very logical to sell the homebrew on ebay , also very profitable.

Firstly things that we can get for free are sold to us every day , Diet Books (We all have a good idea of what's good for us and what isn't ,and there's tonnes of information readily availible on the net ) Exercise machines ( Our own body weight is good enough resistance for a good workout.) Get Rich Quick Guides/Books/Semminars Etc .

Basicaly people sell us items and information that we could get for free with a bit more effort everyday , the only reason why it's so expensive on ebay is because the number of people selling this information is minimal.

THe best way to kill these guys is to set up listings containing information on how to modify a psp batter to become a pandoras battery and sites where the homebrew can be downloaded.

I can't blame these guys for doing what they are doing , they aren't hurting anyone and it's not as if the idiots that did buy it where using their last pennies ( people that are willing to spend $400 on battery are either very rich or very stupid and would probably blow the money on something of even greater stupidity).

I bet y'all are just angry cus you never thought of it earlier lol.

Couldn't Sony sue them for that $#@!e?

This is almost as bad as people selling pieces of the WTC hours after the buildings fell.

Yes sirrie indeed. Those people suck their own small pee rods.

Edit: I sent one of the guys a message

    Message...
So I see you're selling someone elses work and not even mentioning their names.

    C+D ring a bell?

    Aww but who cares right?
It's not like they are making any money. Right?
    I hope you get sued.
I hope they leave you poor.
I hope karma comes knocking at your door in the form of badges with blue&red lights on their cars.

    We can only hope.
