Good god... People don't read the thread before they post anymore do they?

The only choice is to send it in to an unbricking service, or buy a Pandora battery... And why would you send it in if you could have something re-useable for around the same price?

Only thing people should be complaining about is the price, and the fact that credit to the authors isn't being given. Selling the software for the memory card is wrong too... They should just link to it. Preferably on the author's site.
    Put yourself in this situation...

*You have a PSP that bricked when you downgraded or something.
*No one else you know owns a PSP (or they own PSPs non-homebrew capible).
*You find info about Pandora, and read that it needs two PSPs to work.
    *You're screwed.

Like I said in the quote above:

Now, I also think they should credit the team responsible for making this all happen, but that will probably never happen.

What can we do about it in the mean time? Report the listings. If Sony isn't already doing something to get it stopped (Remember how Blizz cracked down on people selling accounts and eBay had no choice but to agree and stop them?) we all can by simply reporting the listing as having 'illegal' or 'copywritten' materials within it for sale. Even if it's not true, eBay will still look at it as a 'will this get us sued by Sony?'
It is of course illegal to sell the memory stick - it contains decrypted sony-copyright material.

And anyone selling just the battery is screwing over their customers - they still need a homebrew-capable PSP to generate the memstick.

If we had thought it was legal to sell the ready-made battery and memory stick, then perhaps we would have done so ourselves - an awful lot of hard work and skill went into this project. But we don't feel that it is, so unfortunately you have to obtain the tools to make it for yourself.

I must've overlooked the fact that you need a second PSP to make the memory card. My bad .

Couldn't you report someone that's selling just the battery, if they're not giving the proper info about needing a memstick to make it function?

Would it be possible for someone to start a free service for the people that only have one PSP? Send in your PSP and they unbrick it using their PSP and battery/memstick.

Or would that still violate copyright laws because they're supplying you with official Sony stuff?

Seriously people should at least know someone with a psp to do this at least and in return do the homebrew on their psp for thanks... people need to go out and meet some people lol...

Or you could just have a spare battery ready to go just in case you bricked yours. No use for a second one unless you're not thinking ahead.

Can you flag this for abuse, or would ebay not care?
