Though I don't know about Japan. Weird, they made no announcement for the PSP Slim for Japan.

well this question seems to come up all the time and well the ds lite has sold by now an estimate of 12.4 millon units in Japan (according to this article http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=76205
it had reached the 10 millon mark by the end of april and since then an estimate of 600 000 units has been sold each month). The population of Japan is estimated to be around 127 millon people so the ds lite only covers around 10 % of the total potential sales in Japan. (Yes EVERYBODY can play the ds lite!)

Yeah, I own one but I've never picked that piece of $#@! up since I got a PSP. It still baffles me why Nintendo is winning the console war. Maybe they're buying their own stock to make it look like they're winning.:rofl:
