Well a PC I doubt because it uses a 3.5" HDD's, but I am pretty sure it will work on a laptop, since laptop's use 2.5" for the most part, just make sure that the laptop uses a serial ata, or SATA connection...
Hey i was wondering if there was a way to use the ps3
hdd on a pc. iv been trying to get my hdd to run off my pc, to get my music off of it ever scene it broke. (was open so no chance on taking it back). so any ideas?

I can get a seta to use, but my pc wont read it.
thats probably due to the filesystem i remmeber back when i dabbled in ps2 homebrew, you needed some special progs to read a ps2 formatted hdd
I think that ps3 uses Ext3 and that format can only be read by a Linux machine. Well, there might be an app that allows windows to read it but I don't know any...
