HELP: Lumines downgrader

I was just browsing through Game store the other day and could not believe to stumble across a copy of Lumines! Yahoo! My Amazon order of PSP Fireware 2.xx should be arriving soon. I read that Lumines can downgrade any firmware version up to 3.50. But a lot of articles say we should upgrade to 3.50 before downgrade using Lumines? Am confused :S

Also, will Lumines bypass the problem about TA-082 motherboards?

You must upgrade to 3.50, then downgrade via Lumines. Yes, you can downgrade a TA-082.

I just browsed the instructions on Noobz 3.50 Downgrader. It says something about NetConfigBackup. Can someone enlightenment about this step? I won't have WiFi connections and I'll be using a brand new PSP.
