GTA IV Delayed Until Q1 2008 On PS3 & 360

[UPDATE] Take-Two pushes back blockbuster to next year, saying "time-intensive" nature of dual-platform development; annual earnings estimate plummets by over $200 million.

I also read ths in PSM the other day. Apparently the real reason the game has been delayed is because of problems developing the PS3 version of the game, ergo Sony didn't want the game released on 360 sooner then PS3.*

I don't see why the PS3 is being blamed for this. The PS3 version was long in development before the 360 version.

You'd think these developers would have learned a thing or two about the hardware that they originally started with...

If anything the blame should be placed on Rockstar, for having decided partly through the game's development to tack on another console to release it on...
