i'm sure his cable does work, it's exactly like PDG posted, just without the LEDs or the charging. And if I'm not mistaken Mr7 uses the M1000B.

The problem is tat i found my USB cable has a small green cable just like mr7 one....but i am not sure if it is the right one...
Is that all green cable the same ???
I also found the small black cable ....
In fact , I'm not sure which cable is B,D ,1 and 3.....

BTW, the way to solve my problem is to buy a PSP-290 GPS instead DIY my-self

NEVER rely on COLOURS!

The scematic i provided you guys with even shows wich pins to use, so if the colours are diffrent dont start untill youve traced all cables with a multimeter or so first.
Draw up all Pinouts yourselve and sort them accordingly.

i didn´t have a 1 ohm one so i took three 0.325 and came up with 0.975 ohms and that did the trick for me

The type of resistor varies from person to person due to the internal resistance of the materials or lenght of a cable you use.
*Never make a cable longer than 5 meters

Try starting with 1k ohm and if that works go with that, but if a higher or a bit lower value works and gives you a faster respond then go for that

Friendly tip: The last thing you want to do is to encase the components so you can test this
