    No worries dude
We all Noob up from time to time

Im to oldschool to upgrade my Fat psp units after 3.52 M33-4 because i think its the most stable firmware for homebrewers, and i have like 4-5 psp units *One without a screen because i dropped it testing mapThis and writing tuts *Lol*

Byt my slim is upped to 3.90 M33-2 but i havent got any 1.50 kernel mode support on it and i really dont want to run eboot loader first
I want it all to work as a 3.52 M33-4 Fat does, just plug and play

that would be the ultimate for me and many others.

Hello Derek, are you living in HKG? Do you have any idea we can buy this GPS cable in HKG? The official web site (http://www.pc-mobile.net/pspgps.htm)is quite expensive and they still charge USD5.0 for HKG shipment. My PSP is a fat one.

From China i did order a cable for connecting PSP to Holux 236. In parallel i did buy a new PSP. Meanwhile the cable has arrived, but it looks like it cannot be used, because new PSP are using a different ( 12pin ) kind of connector ( see also pictures this thread, Sept. 8th, msg from "mr7" ). Until now i haven't seen any information on it's pinout or any offers for fixed cables.
Maybe an alternative solution also could be, using the PSP top connector ( like being used for PSP-290 ). Needed plugs are standard parts, but also in this case some pinout informations would be required.
    Who has an idea?

It all depends on how the GPS is configured, it may look like a Mini-USB port on a Holux GPS but it isnt
Its a Serial port but the connection is a Mini-USB because it fitted best
