I created this homebrew app so i could flash my own waves to my psp. I dont know whether there are other applications like this but i would still much rather use my own as i know there is nothing which harms my psp. It is fairly easy to use and it shouldnt brick your psp unless the file you select to copy is not a system_plugin_bg.rco file.

I have added my own themes to this download. If you dont want them then just delete them.

If anyone does use this then use it at your own risk and make sure you know how to change the system_plugin_bg.rco in flash0 using the recovery menu.

we've been able to do that, it's a simple bmp swap....


and other than that, it's just another flashing utility for those that don't know how to work the flash0 thru a computer and USB connection. i won't download as i like the manual flashing, but good job on the release any ways

FULL RES 480x272 background image WITH WAVES

01-12.bmp = default background image.

BMP's can be used as a wallpaper background with waves on top

1. First resize the BMP to 352x199

2. Once the BMP is resized convert it to a JPG.

3. Then rename it to 01-12.BMP
(make sure to change the extension from JPG to BMP)

4. It will be the first Icon in Theme under Original

Here are 140 background images already formatted and ready to be used as background images with waves on top.
