it works fine under 3.10 oe a (my firmware)
and it works with the original quake files, it just doesn't want to start a 'new game', because the guy who was coding this set it up so that only his specific maps would play in a list.
I'm running firmware 1.5 so need to kxploit it.
I've never heard of any homebrew (other than those that use the camera/gps addons) that would run only under custom and not 1.5.
Grrrrrrumble, this sounded promising.
Does it run at a decent FPS?
On the biggest map, I was able to spawn 5 friendly bots and still have it run at a playable speed.
dude, get the latest custom firmware, (better get the 'oe a' One) you can run 1.5, 2.0 and what ever other firmware is the latest plus the psx firmware (pretty sure)
With the custom frimware you run the custom firmware.
It's based on the official version in its number and the 1.5 kernel for homebrew access, the psx emulation is a hacked feature of the official firmwares.
Ive been on 1.5 for some time, devhook still runs my most recent UMD (not that I play psp games much) and theres not really any psx games I want to run.
Why fix what ain't broke?
Well, up until this peculiar piece of code I had never had any issues running any homebrew. I'd like to know why exactly it needs a custom firmware.
Would it be possible to run this program through devhook by emulating a cfw? Or is that not possible with devhook?
On second thought try putting the eboot etc in a directory named UCJS10041 like you would do with a psp demo.
maybe it's one of the special 3.XX eboots?
