“Y” has just released a new version of his popular Super Nintendo emulator, v0.02y16. The only major change he added with this release (according to the internet translation) is:
– State saving with compression
– More to come with better translation.
I guess there are no speed changes but never mind

Actraiser problems...
Wondering if anyone else can confirm this, or if it's just my lousy memory of the game.
When Actraiser starts, you pick a name, and after that you're supposed to pick "Fight Monsters" to start the first stage. But when I try it on uo_Snes9x_002y16, the cherub tells me that I need to be level 1 to pick that stage.
As far as I can tell, it seems the emulator's somehow not writing/reading correctly from a segment of emulated memory. You're supposed to start the game at level 1, yet on uo_Snes9x_002y16 you start at level 0, making the game effectively unplayable, since you can't start the first stage.
Anyone can check this for me? -

Anyone know why when I use Madmonkey's Corrupt Data File hider on uo Snes9x it doesnt run? I cant figure it out.

Delete the .srm file and try again.
