I'm not sure how much the firmware takes up but I think the PSP has 10 mb built in. I doubt you could save anything else on it.
Then again I could be wrong![]()
I was wondering how much physical space does psp have for firmware, and how much space does v1.5 take up?
I was also wondering if it is possible to store small files (like Nesterj configuration files) in the firmware so you can switch memory sticks and retain your configurations?

It has 32MB of NAND flash, I'm sure.
Even so you wont be able to put any such files on it. Its preset for the firmware and system alone. Kinda like the ps2, you cant save any settings on it without a memory card.
