So i bought my new xbox 360, for 400$ with 6 games and two controllers, btw thats not the point, i want to update the system so i can watch media off an external drive, but, my xbox live wont work is there anyway that you can download the update ?
how do you update through a PC ?
if you bought it used the xbox could have been banned for some reason like a mod or somethin else
that sucks for real but have u tried xlink kai its free and u can create an account i think. but otherwise try vampdudes suggestion.
Thats the thing, dont know where to download the update, because you can download a backwards compatibility update, and the burn it to a CD, but i cant find anything else
I bought one for $400 with 5 games,2 wireless controllers and 2 head-sets no too long ago.
By the way that's not the point. I had the same problem as you the first day I turned it on. All I did was change the IP Address that the Xbox was using from my router's configuration panel, restart it,and booyah! But I don't know if it is your problem. I hope it is.
How do you change the ip addy of the xbox 360 from the routers controll panel, i thought you could only change ip settings on the xbox itself. If you could give me a detailed explanation that would be great! iv had the marketplace work on my old xbox 360, but never xbox live, i just want to update my system to play media.
