i dont understand why it wouldnt work. i didnt have a single problem using that tool. is your PSP 1.5??
Yes, sorry about that. I was going around asking some people that seem to be in the know the same questions. You were one of the lucky ones selected! No luck yet, I may need to try a different tool.Originally Posted by Kaiser

Guys, I figured it out. I had bought a new 1gb memory stick, and as Im new to all this, I didnt realize I had to format it. I stumbled upon the option on my psp and formatted it. From there everything worked like a charm! I was kind of dissapointed with the games coming out for psp, and was killing time with N4spd Underground and Hot Shots Golf. Now I dont care if I never get another PSP game again! NES and SNES rules! If anyone has a good Neo Geo emu, please PM me. Thanks again for all your help.
well, im glad you figured everything out. it was bugging me. how much did you pay for your 1gb memory stick? im also trying to buy one
The best deals I've seen so far have been on ebay. You can get it for around $100-$110 including shipping. Everywhere else its going for $140 and up. I got an employee discount here in the Los Angeles area, because I know someone that works for Fry's electronics. Still cost me approx $112.
yeah, i won the bidding on one for $106 with shipping and everything, but the guys paypal didnt work and after speaking to a paypal rep they advised me not to pay him. that something fishy was going on. so i gotta keep looking. the high speed memory sticks cant be used to their full potential on a psp can they??
Don't forget about the PSP compatibility List:

Would it be possible for people to update their findings on the lists. Just click on the status icon for a game and select a status. It's as simple as that

Casper and friends,
Just to let you know, I bought a 1gb SanDisk Memory Stick Duo Pro from www.ebuyer.com for $98 after tax and shipping. Package came via USPS and arrived 3 days later! SanDisk even includes an adaptor that lets you use the Duo stick like the older, longer version of the memory stick. Useful if you have a camera or memory stick adaptor for the non-duo variety. Both work great!
Sounds like ebuyer.com is cheaper than eBay, and with a return policy, I trust it better, personally. Hope this helps!
