sweet, ive been wanting some gba info for a while. you rock cross. good job!!

PS: i dont know if anyone has gone over this, but i was using my roms in zip format on the psp. i heard this is what causes some of the lag. when i unzipped it and ran the unzipped file instead, FF3 seemed to run better. just thought id share in case it hadnt been covered yet. and if so, my bad for bringing it up again

Cross, I need your help. You seem to know what you're talking about...so here goes. I downloaded the SEI tool v0.5c and put it on my desktop. I also dl'd a SNES emu and put it on my desktop. I open the sei tool and connect my psp. It shows up as G drive. When I try to complete the instructions in the sei tool, it tells me "PSP drive not found" I am certain that my PSP is hooked up properly. I have gone to the usb option on the psp and made sure that the PSP is talking to the computer. Still "PSP drive not found"??? Any ideas on what might be the problem?

    Question #2:
I have bunch of roms on disk from about 4 years ago when I used to play NES and SNES games on my PC. Will these roms work with the various PSP emulators that are out there or do I have to look for later versions of these roms?

    I really appreciate your help.

    Thanks
    Nick

nickgundara - well, at the bottom of the seipsptool it asks for a specific drive. you must change that to G since thats what your computer assigned for your PSP. if youve done that already, then i really dont know what the problem could be. and your roms from 4 years ago should work as far as i know. thats what i using

just to prevent possible confussion... the PSP might not be assinged to G. Mine is assigned to F. the psp is just the one... that wasnt there before

right, thats what i meant when i said that he needs to use G since thats what his comp assigned to the PSP when it was plugged in. G was obviously not there before. hope this helps!!

I did that. G was what the computer assigned to the drive. All the other letters dont work anyway....and G is the only one giving me the error in the sei tool. Someone else told me that a lot of people have problems with the sei tool. I also tried the same thing on another computer and had the same problem. Cant figure this out! I want to play classic games on my PSP now!!!

Hmm I got this exact same message in a PM but it replaced Cross' name with my own. Well Nick that is quite odd since you seem to be doing everything right. Any luck yet?
