Help with Dark Alex

Hi,

I have the Dark Alex software(3.40 kernel) on my PSP. The only problem is it wont play my region 2 UMD movies. I have tried enabling and disabling different things in the recovery menu but still no luck.

Any ideas?

update to 3.52 M33 and see if the settings on recovery work, (region free)

i have upgraded to 3.40 oe-a. but theres one problem!
when i turn my psp off my recovery settings reset back to default e.g. like no-umd option goes from disabled back to enabled and its a real hassle. is there any way around it??

I don't know! Are you switching off the psp when you are in recovery mode or are you Exiting?

Yeh i am exiting out of recovery mode. It seems to happen when i change the wallpaper of my psp but it works fine when i just leave it on the sony default wave theme, if thats any help.?

Boot recovery -> Advanced settings -> usb flash 1

Delete setup.se and then exit on the PSP
