anyone know how to use the game genie in the emulator?

yes, just put the game genie text file in a sub folder.. not really needed though.. more for organization... anyways... go to the menu, and choose Load Cheat File (game genie) and press CIRCLE... navigate to where you saved the text file, in my case its... /PSP/GAME/NESEMU~1%/GENIE/SMB1/SuperMarioBros_Always stay big.txt
press Circle to load the cheat...

keep in mind, that my file structure doesnt have to be followed, but once you load the cheat, it always remembers the directory...

My structure is for being organized, so i know where all my cheats for each game goes. Pretty much any game genie code works... I have test a good bit of them. Currently for SMB1 I saved.. always stay big, infinite lives, mega jump, start on world 8.....

    Hope this helps...

Here are a few examples... each of these codes a seperate .txt file, and are for SuperMarioBros...
    Code:
APZLGG Mega-jump from a standing start only
    APZLTG Mega-jump from running only
GAZUAG Mega-jump from turbo running only
SXIOPO Infinite Lives for both players
