Thats what i thought. links to warez are not allowed. Now what about a pc tool that takes the update eboots and formats ms and installs files would that be possable? Or would we need some sort of psp emu to dyrypt the prx's?

I am a fan of the Noobz work as it is brilliant and maybe what they have said is correct information, something for people to definately read...

...However I have been a fan of all of Datels work since the PS1 days of gaming & the gameboy days and I don't like too much badly said about them, there customer services in the past to me have been fantastic and they are a great company, I am unsure if the noobz have tested the product but if so I am sure Datel have given the user some help in getting custom firmware to work, they rarely suck when it comes to their products.

I will personally get my hands on this battery and test it on one of my fat psp's see what the outcome is and perhaps soon ill repost here my results or on a new topic.

Good news anyway, but calling Datel a rotten company is a bit too far...All I can see is a bit of a problem with the words on the packaging of this battery...I had a problem with 2 DS Cheat cards from Datel because of silly packaging words, gladly they were sorted by them after a short period of time...

Hey Briggzy! How have you been?

Back on topic- I agree with Fanjita, they should take down that link and say look for it on google.

It is expected. Either they did it themselves or ripped it from team C+D. I guess they've proved most of us....right.

As if they discovered it themselves when it was released
    almost straight after Pandora.
All there is to discover is that when a PSP battery has a serial of all FFh bytes,
    it is a Pandora battery.

Since they already make PSP batteries, it was easy for them to make once they knew how,
but THEY did not discover the how.

And yet if you read the forum thread linked from the original article at www.noobz.eu, you can see that people have been having problems, and have been left out in the cold by Datel.

I deliberately refrained from making much comment about this battery until I'd heard some genuine user reports. Everything I've heard so far points to a lot of people having been misled by the advertising (it's not completely false, it's just too ambiguous), and then having been ignored by Datel when they've needed some support.

I edited out the link. I just assumed it would be to link as it was from dcemu.

I just wanted to point out really that it is possible to downgrade w/out CFW and the datel battery, to offer some hope to people who've bought it and feel screwed over.

Oh, whoever said they were going to buy it and see what it does for themselves, it does exactly the same as a pandora. When you put it in the psp goes to service mode, which is just a blank black screen and powerlight goes to green. Then you put in the magic mem stick and that process is also exactly the same as pandora. Hope that saves you some money.
