Default help with psp plz messed up fw update

hello I got my psp the other day working fine with homebrew using firmware 2.71 (original fw 1.5) but i thought lets format the memory card, now the iso's wont work that I put on so ithought it would just be best to start from scratch downgrade to 1.5 and go to 2.71 using this link http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=42251. i got all the way to step 21 and my psp just freezes whenever i try to access the games/memory stick and then switches off after 5 secs of freezing.
I've taken the battery out and formatted the memory card, the ard is fine as a can still put pictures on the card and view them on the psp. but still freezes and turns off when i try to access the games/memory stick from the.
Plz help me ive only had the thing 1 day and messed it up

    Re-install your firmware.

Try re-installing a custom firmware from the recovery menu (use the link in my sig).

Who cares? It's not like we're giving links to ISO's.
