Homebrew on a PSP 3.40

Hi Folks,

I have a PSP with version 3.40 on it, what do I need to do to be able to play homebrew on it ? I have searched this site and it seems that if I upgrade to 3.5 and have lumines I can then downgrade, but I was wondering if there is an alternative method to enable homebrew ? There is a lot of talk about custom firmwares, do I need to downgrade to install one of these ?

Create a Pandora battery. Then once on 1.50, update to 3.52M33.

You do need to downgrade so either use the EX's idea or downgrade using the Lumines downgrader.
