Lightbulb A solution for those having problems burning with BootDreams

Here is a possible fix for anyone having problems with burning their CDI's with BootDreams. For some reason when I tried to burn with bootdreams it wouldn't burn at the speed I selected. All the discs I burnt were crap so I found a new way that has given me working discs every time so far.

    First get discjuggler here:
    http://www.padus.com/downloads/demo.php

its only a demo version but it has all the capabilities you need for burning dreamcast CDI's

Next use the tutorial found here:

    http://imrtechnology.ngemu.com/cdiburn.htm

I moved the speed to the slowest (which was 8x with my burner) and it has burned flawlessly. Enjoy!

this is not a solution, but an already well known way to burn cdi-images...and it's not the only one...

btw, the tutorial is crap, because it contains misleading informations

My intention was not to supply a revolutionary new way to burn CDI's. However the supplied information on the forums did not help me at all at trying to burn CDI's. I was simply offering useful information for anyone having the same problem as I was. Sorry if this method was obvious but I did not come across this method in the forums and the "burning dreamcast games in 5 minutes" tutorial gave me nothing but coasters.

i can see that you just wanted to help, which is cool. still you only helped those who apparently aren't capable of typing "burn cdi" into google as the first link there would have given you plenty of solutions :P

you can't really depend on so limited sources like forums to get overall solutions to a problem
