Irem's side-scrolling shooter series immerges into the turn-based strategy game genre. As a result, R-Type Tactics features traditional side-scrolling shooting action confined to a turn-based hex-grid system. Instead of cursing bosses for cheap kills and numbing your fingers slapping the fire button, you'll take turns attacking and plotting devious schemes with your enemies.

This game actually sounds pretty fun. I'm a big fan of R-Type. I would download the ISO. But I'm not a freeloading douche.

I know some R-Type fans are like "WTF this isn't R-Type!" I think this game is going to be awesome and I'm a very big R-Type fan and old school shooter fanatic. Now we get to defeat the Bydo Empire the tactics way.

This game certainly has my attention. I don't have too much expectations because I'd hate to be let down, but it would be nice if this is another surprise hit.
