NDS ROM Recovering Program

Before you ask, this thread is about making a program that extracts a ROM from a legally bought game card so don't flame me.

I was wondering if it was possible to make a homebrew game simaller to NitroHax that can extract the ROM from a game card. It would be really cool if you could load the homebrew, insert the game card, store a part of the ROM on the NDS RAM, then switch back to the flashcard, write the part of the ROM to the SD card, and repeat until you have all of the parts of the ROM on your SD card. Then load the parts into a program that puts together a playable backup for the game card.
