your only option for both your Slim and Phat PSP is pandora's Battery
I just bought a new slim. I haven't even opened the box yet. At the same time I bought a used phat. Unfortunately the phat is running 3.71 official firmware. Is there any way to downgrade or apply m33 to 3.71 official firmware on a phat yet?

Hi All, this may not be the best place for this post - sorry.
My Boss just bought a slim PSP from China with 3.60 M33 pre loaded.
He's got back to the UK and bought a UK encoded UMD movie and it complains about the region code and won't load.
I've been into the setup and tried various settings - telling it to Fake region Europe, free region etc but can't get it to work.
Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to get a European firmware or is the hardware locked?
hi, i have a fat psp running 3.52 M33 and a newly bought slim on 3.60 official. ive been trying to format the magic mem stick on the fat psp but i get stuck with an error msg.
Step two B- Prepair Memory Stick
You are about to format the drive k.
All data will be lost. Do you want to continue? [Y]y
Open error (read).
You should see
Drive successfully formatted, and partition moved.
If so press press 1 and then enter to Continue
any help would be appreciated.
Its the hardware, and if you install 3.71 M33-3 on it, and then try to fake a region that should work. If not, just hit select when in the VSH and change USB to ISO/UMD
then enter USB moce and drag the ISO to your desktop
put it on his ms in ms0:/ISO/VIDEO
now it will work
use the format menu in the the PSP under system info
So, I have a new PSP slim with 3.60 firmware. I do not have access to a PSP fat. How can I make my PSP slim able to play homebrew?
find someone who has a either a slim or fat PSP that can run homebrew and make a pandoras battery
The problem is that I don't know anyone with a PSP (fat or slim). What about the datel battery thingy? How would that work?
if you buy the datel battery, you still need a PSP to make the memory stick
hi people, i am just curious has anyone successfully installed the custom firmware into their psp slim with pandora's box? and is it possible to still get custom firmware updates? and still play games off disc like the fat psp? would the fat psp still work after the magic battery and memory stick is created? i am looking to buying a psp slim just want to get some feedback before i actually go ahead with it.
thanks.
