[Port Suggestion] Pokemon NetBattle (Source Available)

Greetings!

Here's an idea I've had for some while now after seeing those crappy homebrew clones of the Pokemon franchise on the PSP.

Well, there's this online fan-made PC game called "Pokemon Netbattle"..

The maker abandoned further development of this game, as he did neither have time to continue nor any interest in newer Pokemon generations..

As he mentions, he will be glad to give the source code to anyone who's interested, so.. getting the source won't be that complicated.

Thing is, I don't know in what language the game's coded, I can only hope it can be ported.

Finally, I'll be glad to offer any help, though I'm not an experienced coder.
I'd give it a try, though.

I can definitely vouch for this game being worth porting, it's quite enjoyable.

Alright I looked over the website and it appears that this game was made in Visual Basic, again, its just first looks. If thats the case then the game could not be ported but would have to be rewritten.

Again, that was just first looks and not looking at the source.
