    Default Singapore Direction Query Solutions.

Guys who are having problems with GMDL creating directions for singapore maps try this.

    - suspected maps.google.com uncompatible with GMDL to support singapore.

.: [Directions] tab, select 'Virtual Earth' radio button.
Within the frame select 'Driving Directions'.
    Enter your desired point.
After search click 'List' on the right panel of GMDL.
    -done.

*Take Note, Virtual Earth search patterns considers the following to be invalid: e.g "Tampines Street 33,Singapore" The correct format should be "Tampines 33 St,Singapore".

another e.g "Simei St 4,Singapore" is wrong.
however "Simei 4 St,Singapore" is correct.

I have no idea if you knew this all along or you arn't having such probs. Its just another sharing session.
    =)

GMDL just needs to be properly configured, I've compiled my own GEODATA database for singapore, and every single POI is available. Make your own.

Alex mind if you share your SG Geodata with us?

btw i find out that using GMDL created directions even with Virtual Earth when it runs in mapthis it isn't that detailed compared to directions created from Nieko's web.

mine is working quite well...sometimes a bit siao siao can get 5 full bars oso...but most of the time it'll be around 2-3 bars...

    GPS: GPS-290 without extension cable
    Mapthis: Neiko's auto PRX version
    Version: 3.71 M33-2 with 1.50 kernal add-on revision 2
Fastest Logon: 1 Min Plus at fix location, 5 Mins Plus while on the Move, Sometimes dunno why will take a bit longer

you may try checking your keys with Chilly Willy's keycleaner (muz read the readme cos might brick), try re-installing mapthis or if u're using the original version try to dump the latest prx urself...

guys, i attached a csv not a very detailed one but is has at least 2 POI in every street or place of SG.

I tried converting it to dat, works but doesn't seems to work in mapthis, dump the geodat in the map folder i am using but rev addr lookup isn't working at all.

feel free to use the information.
