I think it looks fine as it is.
i'm trying to make a very nice and professional banner for my site.
so far i have this,
any tips?
edit:: ok i added a glare on the text
seriously what do u guys think, and what should i change/improve
I think it looks perfect.
Well not at all, I would add some color to the waves in the background. But that's just my opinion. It looks awesome.
And I didn't know that HH was yours.
Great!![]()
*shakes uncontrollably*
thats good man! except the shape......i dunno something feels outta place
and the glass is kinda like, wtf? you didnt erase enough to make it glassy and there isnt a plane where the glass should be made
E.G. Look at this picture, thats how glass positioning should look like and how much should be erased
Example, anyway buddy ill say that looks pretty good and would easily do as a site banner
BTW, like the font where'd u get it?
EDIT: i think the pictures reflection is a bit TOO erased, oh well but the main point is that you dont want the viewer to see the top of the reflected letters at least
thanks alot tet, ill try that tommarow. the txt is arial (mabey calibri but its the same thing) and i belive it is on smooth, bold, -75 space between letters.
I have to say that the logo style used matches the webpage design a lot, so does the black/gray in the logo. However, you could maybe try to blend in the sides of the banner with the background?
Also, there's a black/green theme in the webpage design, but the logo is black/blue.. It looks a bit odd, but I don't know if the logo will look as good as it is now if you make it green.
Anyways, on every other spot, it looks perfect.
well, theres multiple styles on the site.
were currently trying to find the best one.
but i made it like that because it should go good with just about any forum style
edit: hows this?

Ah, that makes more sense, I just tought of the current main theme. The mirrored text still coloured looks better than having it black.
