It snot a windows quirk, its a Vista being bloatware quirk
Hi,
Thanks for the guide, I have followed the steps up to the part where you format the memory stick (yeah, not very far indeed). When I try to format it, it says "open error <read>".
As for relevant details (?), I run windows Vista & I have the PSP connected to my PC via USB. Would using a MS reader change anything ? Is this one of these obnoxious Windows quirks ? If it is, how can I get around it ?
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Loic

Ok, that explains things a little. Any idea how to get around this ? Would a card reader solve my issue ?

Hi i tried this (on a slim) but there was no change and the lights didnt start flashing. I have completely deleted my flash 0 would this be a reason for it not working?
Dont have a buddy to help anymore cos he left my workplace, thought that i had lost the bricked psp when he left but recently found it in a drawer at work so now i need help to sort it.
I have a slim that i am considering homebrewing so i can fix the brick but dont wanna lose the slim too..... what to do????
I have a psp1001 with 5.00M33-6. I am trying to make another magic memory stick because my last one broke. I followed all the instructions up to opening Pandora's Battery Creator and Pandora's Battery Firm, Installer but my psp won't open either one. It won't open with either my regular or pandora battery.
What should I do?
