I used these games all uncompressed
kof 99: perfect, a little slower with music playing though
    samurai showdown 4: perfect
    viewpoint: perfect
    turfmasters: perfect
real bout fatal fury 2: pefect, a little slower with music enabled
puzzle bobble: no sound or music
metal slug 1 & 2: perfect ( sound great with gatecrasher classics as music to it lol!!)
Great work, the psp is turning out to be a beast of a machine!!
i just want puzzle bobble 2 but i dont own it

I suspect the reaosn music works for some and not for others may be one of two things:

    1) Perhaps some people have zipped their games, and others didn't. So if you have no music, try doing the other and see if it helps.

    2) Perhaps people have mp3's encoded at bitrates the emulator doesn't like?

This is a 1st release so there's bound to be bugs. But it's THE most incredible emu for the PSP so far. It proves beyond doubt that 16bit systems can be emulated at full speed with sound without frame skipping on PSP.

This is awesome! All the games I had hoped work , do!

And for the people trying to get the music working - the "neocd.mp3" folder goes INSIDE the "game name.zip" folder.

Took me ages to figure it out!

    Default Sound/Music

I tried changing the names of the files around to see if they emulator would play them, does chaning the mp3's names and the title of the game have to do with anything with the reason why it doesn't work? I'm starting to think that it is that it only work on some games. Samurai Shodown 2 doesn't seem to work, maybe I should try different games? Do you guys know any suggestions on what games works perfectly?

Put both the neocd.mp3 folder and the samurai showdown 2 zip archive in a new folder entitled "samurai showdown 2", and put that folder in neocdpsp.
