    Default Bonjour service?

I recently got Zonealarm and a few other stuff for protection (that's right, Norton is finally gone)
No problems so far but in Zonealarm, it warns me about a program called Bonjour service.
I've never heard of it before.
Apparently it connects to the internet.
What is it? Is it harmful or something? (Never showed up on anti-virus but you never know)

Be careful when you delete this service. The best you can do is to deny access to the internet to him. The bonjour it's a service from Apple or Adobe, if you have iTunes or some kind of Adobe software on your computer, you have bonjour. It's, for the user, completely useless. Disable it on services.msc and deny the internet access to him, again. :-)

PS: When I tried to remove him, I deleted a lot of registry entries of "bonjour.exe" and my windows did not start. :-/ Luckily, I had one restore point...

Ok, next time it asks I'll deny it.
Thanks for the advice and the reply.

It's to do with apple updates (Quicktime/iTunes) I just uninstalled it, blocked it access to the net or removed it from start up i think
