Stuck with PSPGenesis

Alright, so I can get so far, but I just keep getting the same result, over and over and over again. So I figured I would register and ask the real geniuses for help.

Alright, I got this far. I have the PSPGENESIS folders (one with % also) on my PSP, and I have the EBOOT.PBP and the system.fnt file in the PSPGENESIS one. In the PSPGENESIS% folder, I have just the EBOOT.PBP file. I have a ROM of Shining Force 1 that I want to put in there, but I don't know which folder to place it in. Also, the ROM is a .bin file, is that what it is supposed to be?

Just wanted to see if you guys could help me out at all, and any help would be greatly appreiciated. Oh, and my PSP is a 1.51. I don't know if that matters at all, but it may be the downfall all along.

As far as I'm aware of, you can't run homebrew stuff on 1.51 or 1.52. This will hopefully change in the future, though!
