ipod NES.app v1.9.0 - Nes Emulator for iPhone

Nervegas has released a new version of his Nes Emulator for the iPhone:

NES.app uses the popular InfoNES emulation core to mimic the 6502 processor in a Nintendo Entertainment System, allowing you to play ROM dumps of games designed for the NES console. ROM dumps are files containing the dumped instruction code from a physical cartridge. In many cases, you are legally entitled to posess a ROM dump of any game that you presently own. ROM images for NES are widely available online, or with the appropriate hardware, you can dump them yourself directly from the cartridge.

NES.app started as a fork based on the same original code as iPhoneNES, but has been completely rewritten to run very fast, and with many additional features such as sound, game genie, saved games, and full screen support.

1.9.0 [nervegas] Tweaks to sound caching to get closer to real-time sync
(you should be using auto-frameskip, slow frameskips
    will cause sound to loop)
Added zapper support (tap screen); works with:
    Duck Hunt
    Hogan's Alley
    Wild Gunman
    Gumshoe (game itself has glitches)
    Shooting Range
    Gotcha!
Others do not yet seem to work

Hey man. What's going on?? I actually own an Iphone and I have been wanting to put some games on the damn thing since I originally was planning on buying a PSP but I also needed a new phone.

I figured with the capabilities of the Iphone, it should be able to play games (even though the touch pad's kinda funky for that idea). My thought is though, I wonder with it's capabilities and time given to hackers/emulators/programmers and whatnot what it is capable of emulating up too graphically speaking. NES, SNES, N64, etc..

Yeah, I downloaded the NES program for the MAC but I'm kinda worried/scared to install it.....since I'm a noob and I don't want to break my $$$ Iphone or void the warranty.....ya know?? Anywhat, hit me up if you get a chance and have any ideas or other news. Thanks dude!!!

    LATER.................
