SuccessHK has today dropped the price of the new 80GB Playstation 3 down to USD 519.35 (£254)

A saving of £146/$260 for those of us in the UK. The UK is still stuck with the 60GB versions at the moment.

All PS3 Games are worldwide Region Free as are most Blueray Films. Buying a HK PS3 will lose PS2/Ps1 compatability but for the price it may be worth it..

SuccessHK do ship worldwide so good news for importers, but make sure you ship airmail and ask for the box to be marked as sample

can't the PS3 just emulate the compatibility something like the way the PSP is able to play PS1 games , shouldn't be too hard for Sony right ?

As an owner of a PAL 60GB unit relying on software emulation for PS2 playback i have no problems with my extensive library of great ps2 games.
