Downgrading from the official 3.71 Firmware

Hi yall, I got a PSP with the official 3.71 Firmware, I've been doing some research and I've seen that the popular thing now a days is using Pandora's Battery. From what I read you need two PSP's one that is homebrow enabled and a spare battery too. Is there an alternative to this? Consider all I have is 1 PSP, 1 32mb memory stick, 1gb memory, and only 1 battery. Thanks for the help.

im afraid that the only way to downgrade a 3.71 psp is the pandora battery. try getting a friend with a lower firmware to downgrade their psp so u can make a pandora battery
