Reply With Quotedepends on your firmware. If you have 1.50, or a custom firmware you should use the ME version (faster). If you're on a 2.00 or 2.50 etc use regular.

0.4.2 and 0.4.2me
which is the one i should be getting?

Keep in mind that you can't use the sleep mode in the ME version.
Well, there's a sleep method implemented.
But Sony's sleep doesn't work.

There is some error in snes9xtyl that doesn't let it display some sprites properly. For example in Chrono Trigger the Domes in one timezone are fogged up so you can't see.
That's why I prefer to use this emulator:
