Help with SNES emulator for PSP please...

Ok so I'm not the best with computers or electronics and I just got a psp a few days ago. I wanna know how to run the snes emulator/roms on my psp...I got the SNES9x onto the psp but it won't load it, gives me a bad file error message. If anyone can provide a step-by-step guide in plain english on how to get this working it would be GREATLY appreciated, thank you...oh and the system is a US/CDN model with version 2.80 system software.

You need to change your firmware (system software). Research downgrading. You can do it with a copy of Lumines (search "illuminati") or GTA:LCS. Or the pandora battery method. Those can help you downgrade to 1.5 firmware, which runs SNES emulators.
