PSP Slim Video Out troubles

I've just installed a CFW (3.71 M33-2), so i thought I'd go and get some Component Cables and try out DGEN on my TV. The thing is I can't get any game to play. I changed the output format between Progressive and Interlace.

When I'm in progressive the image on the screen is split, with two full images on the one screen. And with interlace it doesn't allow me to even start up the game. has it something to do with my cables/TV or the CFW I'm currently running?

The cables are from a brand called POWER WAVE... could it be that they are just a dodgy brand?

install 3.60M33. it will fix your problem.
