Hey I saw a umd loader at pspupdates.com and it said that its for bypassing the new umds that force you to upgrade your firmware. Have any 1.0 users used this and seen if it works? I dont know if this is old news but i just saw it yesterday and thought it would be kickass if it worked on later games like gta.

I heard that it's doesn't do anything but boot the UMD just like it would normally. But I have no idea myself.

it's imposible to do that, the update has more than just security fixes in it. The new games actually need the firmware to run properly because of kernal functions, they make the game better. Unless someone made some kind of firmware patcher that lost the running of unsigned code, then it might be a while before one of these works.

i can tell you it works just got midnight club and this bypassed the upgrade from ver1.0 to ver1.5. great work!
