PCEP - Custom menu backgrounds?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has managed to set up custom background pics for the menu in PCEP 0.7 (the PCEngine emu) ?

I've tried sticking files (of the correct size/format) named menu.bmp and game.bmp into the PCEP root dir but no joy.

I've got BGs working in all emu's apart from this one and it's driving me mad... thanks in advance!

Wait u can add BG menu pics? In what EMU's have u done it? Are they solid or somewhat transparent? If this works for PSPGen, UOSNES or NesterJ I would like to play with it and update my thread.
