    Default Earphone Jack

    Okay, I have read all the posts and will give it a go to connect up a remote GPS. The question I could not find any where is this....

    Why do we have to use the earphone jack plug to connect the PSP to a GPS unit and not use the USB connection already there??

    Feel free to shoot me down but this seems to ellude me.

    read up on USB protocol.. then look up the threads in ps2dev forums explaining why it is hard to make PSP be a host device..
