Mediumguage has updated his text reader and file manager for the PSP

Heres Whats New:

filer:
- added a feature to access CSO archive file. (read-only)
- fixed a bug that appeared in version 4.0 and 4.1, a wallpaper was not drawn correctly.
- changed a HACKER MODE's trigger: digital left & R key.
- enabled to sort archive file's folder to "not sorted".
picture viewer:
- increased drawing speed very much when a picture is rotated.
- switching to next/previous picture, rotated status & magnification rate remain as before.
- enabled to show rotate direction..

PSP Filer's image viewer is 1337.

I just scrolled smoothly round a 2592×1728 JPG at
original resolution, and it zooms too.

The only thng
the XMB does better is smoothZoom with SQUARE+analog.

what does hacker mode do?

Hacker mode allows one read and write access to the PSP's NAND flash memory (flash 0 and 1).

Anyway, looks like this application has been getting some fast updates for a while. i only put in 4.1 last wekk and 4.2 come along. I'll start downloading this now.

This is great! I like the CSO and ISO read features. If I could write on them and edit them would be better. But that's why I have UMDGen I guess..

I wonder how hard it would be to add an "open with" structure like choose a rom and have it open with the designated emulator. That would be sweeeeet!
