? about d/l large maps

is it possible to download large maps with gmdl? like the whole us in detail? i tried a few times but it said reccommended size 1024 and the maps i want to d/l are way bigger than that. is there anyway to do it and keep the detail of the maps? also i had seen somewhere that you can d/l maps with mapthis thru wifi but i dont know how to or if i even can with my version. can any1 help clarify? thanks

if I am not mistaken, you should be able to create maps up to 4096 tiles wide but the size most likely will be more than average memory stick can store...

You definitely don't want to create large maps via PSP's wifi - so stick with gmdl..
